Many will remember the fine Lutheran Choir (The Ken Hannah Sacred Ensemble) which visited our benefice from Minneapolis in 2004. Pastor Herb Brokering, with Lois his wife, led this pilgrimage.  He helped us all to relax, enjoy and enter into the sense of God's presence with us that those occasions brought to us.  Herb has just died peacefully on Saturday 7 November and his long and great ministry, which he continued to the very end, has come to a close.  We bless God for his life and we pray
that his family will be comforted. He rests in Peace.
