Diane and Charles thank everyone who helped to make the Harvest Supper the success it was. The financial result was also a success. The £1,325 raised will be divided between the Village Hall and the church. On behalf of the PCC I offer grateful thanks from the church. The sides of the purse were beginning to touch.

Of course, everyone remembered to put the clocks back on Saturday night/ Sunday morning at the end of October. No-one arrive early for a lunch party to find their hostess wearing her pinny and the vegetables still looking au naturelle!!

Don't forget to make up your tables for Quiz Night on Friday, 14th. Shop team, Street team, Wolterton Road team or simply our lot and your lot. (Whoever they are.) Teams of 4 required. Tickets are £4.00 per person and include a Ploughman's Supper. Phone 01263 584262.

ICSA are holding an Autumn Hop in the Itteringham Community Centre on Saturday, November 15 from 7.30-11.30p.m. Entrance is free, food will be available and bring your own tapes or discs to listen or dance to. There will be a licensed bar.

Good Friday 2009. Yes, the hardy perennial. I now know I need 4 knights (Roman soldiers) - not many lines to learn, plus Jesus - about 3 short speeches, and as many as possible for the crowd - no speeches - just muttering and looking fearful. Please think hard about it, take a deep breath and VOLUNTEER. We'll have a meeting later in the year (date to be announced).
Is Itteringham to be put to shame by Blickling, Edgefield. Little Barningham, Oulton, Saxthorpe and Wickmere? Never!
