GOOD FRIDAY 2009
Can you act? Can you play a musical instrument? If you can please consider taking part in the Way of the Cross event which takes place across the benefice on Good Friday next year. This parish has been allocated Station 6; "Jesus dies on the cross". There are lots of parts needed, obviously some will involve more than others. Paddy Seligman has been our representative at meetings about this and has a copy of the script. Please contact her if you are interested and
hopefully lots of people will want to take part.

REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY
As our church is still closed, the names of those who gave their lives to their country from this parish will be read out at the Remembrance Service at St Mary's Church Itteringham, on Sunday 9th November at 10.45am.

22 people enjoyed the Harvest Festival service led by Peter Chapman, our curate. Harvest gifts have been donated to the Benjamin Foundation. Special thanks should go to Jenny Slapp for transforming the village hall with expert flower and produce arrangments. The service was greatly enhanced by our resident musicians, Becky and Victoria on violin and Alasdair on piano
keyboard. Alasdair has now become our official new church organist, so a huge thank you to him. Finally, special thanks to our 23rd visitor to the service, 'Gin', who provided additional amusement and entertainment.

Thank you to the McKenzie family who wrote last month's piece whilst I was on holiday. Please let me have all your Christmas news in good time for the next edition.

"Christmas in a Barn" 2007

Many people gathered at Hall Farm, Wickmere for the "Christmas in a Barn" service.
Carols were played by the Fakenham Band. A good time was enjoyed by all.
