Itteringham - August 2010 Magazine
Firstly a thank you to members of the PCC who turned out at the beginning of July
to tidy up the garden at the front of The Rectory. Special thanks also to Ray Covell
for all his help and to William Vaughan-Lewis who spent several hours saving the life of
the rose bush in the front bed. With the newly trimmed hedge it all begins to look
welcoming.

NOTE - CANCELLED - Starter Tasting at Mannington – Friday 13th ( NEW DATE TO FOLLOW).

A reminder of Charities Sunday at Mannington on Sunday 5th September – delicious
lunches and teas when you have sated yourselves with the headiness of the garden -
and the stalls!

Then after 5 short days Quiz and Bangers night in the Community Hall, Friday 10th
at 7.00p.m. Tickets ?7.00 ? Food for body and brain.
When all that is done there is – but no, I will not go any further forward while the
July sun is shining and children have barely begun their long summer holiday. I feel
like Omar Khayyam – “How time is slipping underneath our feet.”
