RAF 100 Group Reunion - May 2010
As we enter the second half of the year, we can certainly look back on a wonderful spring and
early summer. Looking forward, we will be happy to welcome our new ‘Priest in Charge’,
Marion Harrison, to our church in the Autumn. She is very keen to get to know parishioners
and to learn about the things which make Oulton tick, so I’m sure she will become a friendly
face in our village and church.
Other changes
A big thank you from Oulton to Laurel Walpole as she stands down from almost a decade of
editorship for the Church and Parish Newsletter. She has certainly co-ordinated and formatted
well and continued the tradition of ensuring the magazine is delivered free to every house in
the benefice.
Oulton Congregational Chapel
The Open Afternoon this month is on Sunday 10th July, 2 - 4pm. Why not bring your Summer
visitors along?
Church Fete
A small but enthusiastic group of volunteers are organising a traditional fete to be held on
Sunday 4th September in the playground. Offers of help or any ideas will be most
welcome. Please contact any of the people below:
